Obituary of Doris Kathryn McLeod

Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Thursday, March 22, 2012, Doris Kathryn McLeod, wife of the late William "Bill" H. McLeod. Born in Saint John, Doris was a daughter of the late John S. and Mable B. (Brookins) Grant. She is survived by her sons: Norman (Alice) of Quispamsis, Ian (Mary) of Miramichi, Brian (Ina) of Saint John, Stephen (Debbie) of Moncton and Gordon at home; daughters: Sheila of Saint John and Marilyn at home; one brother, Ian Grant (Kay) of Tabusintac, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; grandson, Stuart McLeod and several brothers and sisters. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Visitation for Doris will be on Sunday from 6:00 -9:00 pm from St. Luke’s Church, 369 Main Street. The Funeral Service will be held from the church on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to St. Luke’s Church or the Gideons would be appreciated by the family.
