Obituary of George Lorne Lindsay

George Lorne Lindsay of Saint John passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Maplewood, New Brunswick on November 22, 1948, he was a son of the late Basil and Florence "Pat" (Bell) Lindsay. George is survived by two sisters, Viola Stairs (Marcus) of Hartfield, and Marieta Synette of Saint John; as well as two nieces and four nephews. In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by a sister, Faye Lane; a brother-in-law, David Synette; and a nephew, James Synette. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Flewelling’s Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic. Interment will take place in the Maplewood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
