Obituary of Henry Tupper Amero

Henry Tupper Amero of Upper Golden Grove, husband of Marion L. (Saunders) (Briggs) Amero, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Born at Digby, Nova Scotia on April 14, 1940, he was a son of the late John Edward and Pearl Amero. Henry worked for the Coast Guard for more than twenty years. He was a member of the Kennebecasis Valley Antique Car Club, and as an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by his children, Anita Goguen (Garnett) of Saint John, Allan Saunders (Shelley), and Cheryle Salesse (David) of Saint John, Jay Palfrey and Arthur Palfrey (Bernadette) of Ontario, Shelley Dickens of Saint John, Neil Saunders (Melanie) of Ontario, and Jackie McMahon (David) of Saint John; a brother, Harold and a sister, Beatrice, both of Nova Scotia; 27 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by brothers James, Harry, Clifford, Nelson, Marven, and Joe; and by sisters Ena and Helen. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
