Obituary of Mary Patricia McLeod

With her family at her side the death of Mary McLeod occurred on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1927 in Saint John to the late Amos and Alice (Milberry) Northup. She is survived by her sisters, Edna Hanson and Loretta Tays; several nieces and nephews and long time friend, Thelma McMillan. Besides her parents Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Osborne; second husband: Lawrence McLeod; infant daughter, Shirley Anne; sisters: Helen Myers, Beatrice LeBlanc, and Viola Northrup as well as her brother, Alfonse Northrup. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to a favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
