Obituary of Ronald L. Williams

Ronald L. Williams of Saint John, husband of the late Ruth F. (Beaton) Williams, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 12, 1925, he was a son of the late Samuel and Alice (Lobb) Williams. Ron was employed with the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital for more than forty years. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling, and after he retired enjoyed woodworking and was a good handy-man. Ron is survived by his children, Sharon Veysey (Glen) of Saint John, and Daryl Williams of Saint John; grandchildren Michelle Hannah (Aaron), Scott Veysey (Mindy), Jeffrey Williams, Ross Williams, and Eric Williams; great grandchildren Nickolas, Emily, Owen, and Violet Hannah and Keira Veysey; a sister, Dorothy Titus of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by a brother, Roland Williams, and a sister, Lillian Martin. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 6-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
