Obituary of John Freeman Rogers

John "Freeman" Rogers passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Born in Saint John on August 2, 1947, he was a son of the late Arthur and Helen (Craft) Rogers.Freeman is survived by his wife, Wanda (Carr); five children, Adam (Amy), Keary, Tiffany, all of Alberta; Katie (Jesse) and Richard both of Saint John; four grandchildren, Chandler, Zachary, Devin and Kiera; three brothers, Patrick of Saint John; Eric (Ann) and Mike (Audrey) both of Hampton. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Bruce.Through the years Freeman drove taxi for several companies in the Saint John area. Freeman retired as a truck driver for Atlantic Colas and Day and Ross Transport.Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
