Obituary of James Ronald Beman

Surrounded by his loving family the death of Jim Beman occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday May 26, 2012. Jim was born on April 25, 1937 in Saint John to the late William and Jenny (Appleby) Beman. Jim worked at Rookies Pub for 33 years as a waiter until his retirement. He is survived by his two sons: Michael (Lisa) and Ronald both of Saint John; their mother, Lois (Smith) Beman; brothers: Richard (Jody), Robert (Alma), and Teddy (Marnie); sisters: Betty (Ried), Dianna (Huey) and Peggy; grandchildren: Adam, Matthew, Kyle, Natasha, and Crystal; five great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Jack and sister, Lillian. At James’ request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
