Obituary of Mary Agnes Veinot

With her family at her side, the death of Mary Veinot occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She was born on November 7, 1940 in Saint John to the late Walter and Lena (Dobson) Winnie. Mary worked at the Steve’s Restaurant, TB Hospital and finally at YMCA. She was a former member of the Buffalo Club and Saint John Fish and Game. Her hobbies included TV bingo, scary movies and was an avid doll collector. But most of all she loved her family and devoted all the time she could to them. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Brian Ferguson), Paul (Jill), John (Dawna) and Barbara Veinot all of the Saint John Area; brother, George; grandchildren: Robert, Paul, John, Trayce, Jasmine, and Kelsey Veinot, Maia and Guy Sauve, Taliegha Raymond, Chantal Middleton and Chance Burlock; great-grandchildren: Malaki, Joshua, Kayden, Izabel, Adrian, Dominic and Kashon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and brothers: Walter, Charles, Arthur and Robert and sister, Eva. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
