Obituary of Lloyd Daniel Fulton

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lloyd Daniel Fulton of Saint John, husband of Nina (Fisher), which occurred on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Lake Stream, NB on February 2, 1940, he was a son of the late Howard and Alice (Wilson) Fulton. Lloyd was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his son who brought him so much joy and always called him L-il Bit. Lloyd never missed an event in his son’s life and was always present at his hockey games. He retired from the Saint John Port Corporation. Lloyd always spent time in his workshop, working on various projects. He loved his dogs, Tyson and Porter. Lloyd was an avid hockey fan of local teams throughout the Saint John Area and a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs Fan. He also enjoyed spending time travelling with his wife on several cruises. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nina; son, Aaron (Michelle LeBlanc); three sisters, Florence (Winston) Quigley, Zetta Barton and Cathy (Ivan) Vautour; two sister-in-laws, Joan (Robert) Stackhouse and Shirley (Richard) Fullerton; several nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his sisters, Jean Barton, Margaret McGlashen and Deborah Craft; two brother-in-laws, Eldon Barton and David Fisher. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment in Greenwood cemetery on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11:00 am. For those who wish, remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association, Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
