Obituary of Beatrice Eileen Griffith

Surrounded by her family the death of Beatrice Griffith, wife of James Humble occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was born on July 12, 1954 in Saint John to the late Calvin and Helena (Fortune) Griffith. Bea worked as a Computer Programmer for various companies in Saint John until an illness forced her into early retirement. She loved life, animals and the lake and will be sadly missed by all who knew her including her Facebook family. Besides her husband of over 30 years, James, Bea is survived by her daughters: BeeJay Humble (Julia) of Willow Grove, Tressa McIntyre (Chris) of Fredericton, and Trisha Leger (Matthew) and Melissa LeBlanc (Chris) both of Saint John; grandchildren: Kalli, Nathan, Tyler, Robyn, Kaia, Karly, Natalya, and MacKenzie; sister, Joanne Grant (Rick) of Saint John; brother, Calvin Griffith (Heather) of Alma and several nieces and nephews including: Travis, Sandy, Wendy, Jessica, Robert, Andrew, Amy and Andy. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday from 5-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Mosher Hill Cemetery, St. Martins. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation – Heroes of Hope (3BN or 5AN) or the SPCA-Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by the family.
