Obituary of Dorothy Eleanor Mason

It is with devastated hearts that the family of Dorothy E. Mason announces her passing on March 10, 2020. Dorothy was a faithful member of the Lions Club and even served as past president. She was extremely social and loved going out for drives. She could often be found at the St. George Legion where she really enjoyed a good game of bingo and darts.

Dorothy will be eternally missed by the love of her life, Clyde Teare; sons: Robert Joseph “Bobby-Jo” Pierce and Timmy Mason; daughter: Kimberly Mason (Jason Malley); grandchildren: Sam Walton, Cody Mason, Lorraine Brown, Jeffrey Martin, Tori Pierce, Owen McCluskey, Braden Moran, Tia Rector, and William Davis (Aka Johnny); great grandchildren: Logan Hannah Walton, Avah Walton, Zachary Steeves, and Karson Gogan; siblings: Mark Mason (Jenny), Marlene Bungay, and Daisy Mason; sisters-in-law: Shelly (Jay) Holiday, and Mary Anne Bryson; brother-in-law: Graham (Anne) Teare; several nieces and nephews; several loved ones; and her beloved pets: Dog Buddy, and cats Kitty and Blacky.

Dorothy was predeceased by her mother and stepfather: Geraldine and Edward McLellan; brother: George Bryson (nee Mason); sister: Linda “Lynn” Mason; and infant brother and sister John Arthur and Michelle Lynn Mason.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John, NB, (634-7425), where visiting will take place on Friday, March 13, 2020, from 2 – 4 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will follow in the Brenan’s Bay View Chapel at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Kidney Foundation and Diabetes Association, and those, along with condolences, can be placed online at www.Brenansfh.com.
