I, seriously am still in shock over Harvey's passing....; I loved it when he'd pick up the kids and he'd be like " come on, come on, get your stuff together, we have things to do"....and the kids would do what he'd ask and get in the van. Then Harvey would stand there and talk with me, tell me a joke, we'd laugh, then one of the kids would yell "Come on Dad"....! LOL It makes me smile, when I think of those times. Hold on to each other Leslie, he will always be near; just a thought away. Sending virtual hugs to you, Alex (Fred) , Lauren and Julia and when this pandemic is over we'll get together..... Much Love, TeeTee

Take care - we will fondly remember Harvey's sense of humour and especially giving the gears to both Christine and Bridget! Neil, Christine and Bridget Jacobsen

So sorry to hear of your family's loss , I met Harvey back in the early '80s on different job sites he always had funny jokes and stories to tell us, he also always had a smile no matter what he was doing at some times I think even if he jammed his fingers in something he would still smile and grin , that was Harvey, I must say he was a pleasure to know and to work besides at times and as for Harvey I know he truly loved his family , for he always had something to tell us at work about what one of his family members would be doing he will be sadly missed by all that knew him . May you rest in peace Harvey, my deepest condolences to all his family

Leslie, Willis, immediate and extended Families, my Condolences on your loss.
I have some “great” memories of Harvey and I’d like to share a couple with you.
Harvey and I starting working together in the mid 70s aa Labourers then went onto working as Refractory Masons.
We traveled together around Atlantic Canada and every city or town turned into a great party spot.
Harvey liked to socialize and there were countless amount of times we would go out together. At one moment Harvey would be standing beside then all of a sudden, I would see him chatting and laughing with people as if he had known them for years.
There were many of times when work would take us out of Saint John for extended periods of time. During these times Leslie or his father Willis would come on the weekends to visit Harvey. Harvey would be so excited they were coming, it was like seeing the excitement in a child’s eyes on Christmas Eve. He truly “loved” Leslie and his father along with all is family and friends.
Harvey wore a continuous smile and was always ready and willing to help anyone.
Harvey, you will be missed by so many people and thank you for all the great memories.

My deepest condolences go out to you Leslie and the kids. Harvey was a great man. I’ve known Harvey for many years, since we both worked at the refinery. But we became good friends over our years together at Canaport LNG. He was always there to help me with anything I needed. He had a huge heart and was always thinking of others. He always had the best stories to tell and was always smiling, laughing and joking around. He spoke of you and the kids constantly, and it was easy to see how proud he was of his children and all of their many accomplishments and interests. He was a great friend and I will miss him dearly. ❤️❤️

From working at Quebecor together where we met, many laughs were had... many banana breads made that I am sure did not make it home, lol
Such a prankster I checked my mail in grand bay once to find it stuffed with bananas for bread making and two coolers tucked in the back....
so fortunate to have moved to Morna years later to have you as my neighbour and then to care for my most precious gift, my son. He loves you to pieces and he will surely miss your wit and humour and torment :)
Morna will just not be the same without you
Much love
