Obituary of Audrey Olive McKiel

The death of Audrey Olive McKiel, of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Robert McKiel, occurred on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her residence. Born in Saint John, on April 12, 1930, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Boucher) Frawley. Audrey was employed as a retail clerk for several years in the area. She enjoyed reading and bowling. The greatest love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Audrey is survived by her daughter Debbie Grift (Henry) of Dorchester, NB, grandchildren; Jason Grift, and Robin Titus, great-grandchildren; Kinsley Titus, Cameron, Michael, and Daniel Grift, sisters; Mary Merrithew of Saint John, Jean O'Neill of Quispamsis, Irene McFarlane of Hampton, and Doreen Davidson of Hampton, brother Bernard Frawley of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Audrey was predeceased by her son Brian, brothers; Roy, Albert, and James Frawley. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Saint John, on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Interment to take place at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
