To Shirley & family,
Our hearts were so saddened to hear of Tony's passing. One of our highlights of the ministry in Saint John was working alongside such a faithful, loyal, and caring individual who was dedicated to spending his days in service to the Lord Jesus. Tony always went above and beyond the call of duty and his acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
Tony, I can hear the words of the Lord saying:
"Well done thy good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:21
Shirley and family, we are sorry we are unable to be with you today, however, be assured of our love and prayers.
May the God of peace and comfort meet your every need as you journey through these difficult days.

As i write this with a heavy heart ....I loved tony he was an amazing person he loved his family so much ...I remember him like it was yesterday when I was little my family grew up 2 houses over from tony and his family . I was maybe 5 yrs old and I couldnt speak a word of english but I wanted to play with the kids so bad all I could say in english was hi and smile n wave hahaha I would run around acting like I knew what was going on but I didnt i could only speak french haha well .....his little daughter ashlee took my hand and made me join in with the girls playing and his family took me in as one of their own no questions asked haha , I probably spent as much time at their house as I did mine if not more haha as time went on little ashlee at that time got her chalkboard out and she played teacher and she taught me English so I could play too and we became the best lil friends I will always be greatfull for the kindness tony and his family showed me I can sure see where she got it , it didnt stop there :) as I got older tony also drove the city bus I would often see him stop downtown and most people would sit at the back of the bus but I sat right up front and we would chat the whole bus ride whether it was us 2 talking or the whole bus joining in and laughing together on our way to redhead , sometimes I would sit back n just enjoy him chatting with anyone who sat upfront he talked n made sure they left with a smile. the kindness he sure shined wherever he went , I remember if someone couldnt afford to get to where they had to go it didnt matter what they looked like or wore he always made sure they got there with directions and a smile and probably a super great chat too that's just who he was he was kind to everyone.... there was often homeless people sleeping in the bus shelters on a cold day he would bring them coffee or give them change whatever he could to help a person out that's the kindness and compassion he showed everyone.....I have seen this man first hand do countless acts of kindness my entire life whether he thought someone seen or not I saw thousands of times the people you showed kindness to everyone we are forever greatfull and he just made my heart smile how kind he was to everyone not just family or neighbors or myself but strangers like me and the homeless or whoever he ran into he was always there with a smile for absolutely anyone and everyone, he will be missed so much....my deepest condolences to shirley and ashlee thank you so much , I'm so sorry to hear this ...there isn't enough words to say how much my heart aches for you all , my thoughts and prayers are with you .what a beautiful angel he will rest in peace xooxx

Uncle Tony had a sense of humour that was infectious. His niece’s were always “my girl”. I will remember, forever, the day I got on his bus and gave him his Christmas gift. It was a brush for a bald man lol. Just a handle no bristles lol. He laughed so hard he cried. Uncle Tony I will love you forever and always! Xoxo “Kat”.
