Dear family of Rae, daughter Crystal, John and grand daughters Caitlin and Emma, sisters Beatrice and Yvonne. We are so sad to hear of Rae's passing. My sister Andrea kept in touch with her for many years as I kept in contact with her sister Janie. Although we had not seen Rae for many years she was a life long friend.

Crystal - the news of Rae's passing is very sad! I'm very sorry about your terrible loss. I worked with your Mom, many years ago in Food Services at SJRH. Crystal, John and the girls...I’m truly sorry to hear of the passing of Rae. She was such a wonderful lady. As you know, I met Rae when I worked at the hospital and she worked in the kitchen. I’ll never forget how in the mornings at work she would meet me in the hall when I was on my way to break and give me a couple of the sweets that were just made in the kitchen. She would giggle and hand them to me and chat for a bit. I miss the visits we had with her after her retirement and wished we hadn’t waited so long in between visits.

RIP to a friend and co worker Rae Miller. She was a feisty one but she took a liking to me and took me under her wing. I would often drive her back and forth to work when we worked the same shift. We used to go out at lunch to get the twoonie Tuesday’s at KFC quite often and we would each get two! We giggled all the back to work calling ourselves piggies. I referred to her as my other mother at the time as she pecked at me like a mother hen but quite lovingly. It’s been way too long that I’ve spoken to her and for that I’m sad. Thank you for the giggles and the memories Rae. May you Rest In Peace. I’m sorry for your loss Crystal, John, Caitlin and Emma. Although we have never met in person, Rae would often talk about you. She was so proud of you.
