This picture is just the way I always remember Uncle Jimmy. He was so much fun. \my first memory of him is coming home from school one day and seeing a huge black car in our driveway in Nashwaaksis, NB. And Uncle Jim in a spiffy uniform-he was chauffeur to K.C Irving and was waiting to pick him up! Another time we were visiting he and Aunt Margie in Grand Bay and had just finished a delicious dinner. \uncle Jim said, Do you know what you just ate. Cautiously I said, beef?? No, he said, bear! Then he laughed at the changes that brought to my face! He and my dad loved playing horse shoes together-so many happy memories. All the family will miss the happy presence of Uncle Jim. Our condolences to all of you.

I was fortunate to meet Jim a few times. He always had a huge smile. I think the most memorable time for me was at Andy & Lisa's wedding, I spent most of the time watching Jim, watching them, big smile, eyes full of tears. He couldn't have been more proud or happier then that moment. Losing a parent/grandfather is extremely hard, especially with such a close and loving family. Keep the memories forever in your heart, thinking of you all xo

Nikki, Thank you so much for sharing that memory. It's one of my most touching ones too as Dad was feeling so ill that day but wasn't going to let that spoil his happiness at all. I know you understand the pain of losing parents. Thank you for the lovely plant you sent. Sending hugs.Take care.

We are sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a very good guy. Jimmy was a very good friend and soul mate to our father for many many years. We saw how much he thought of our father when he was present with all of us when dad passed away - he was a support for us when we really needed it! Dad always enjoyed the hunting trips to your dad's camp, numerous snowmobile trips to Turtle Mountain, and the occasional nip of vodka. Know that others are feeling your grief. Your dad will live on in all of you for a long long time. Take care. Billy, Kathy, Wendy, Dougie and Donna (McLennan).

Wendy and family, Thank you for your condolences and to your entire family for your friendship to Dad over the years. I was your Dad's nurse when he passed and we were all heartbroken to lose him and see the pain you were feeling. Dad spoke of missing Jackie often and enjoyed his continued friendship and hunting trips with Billy and Dougie. My husband Mike was so happy he got to go on a moose hunt with them, Andy and Dad. Best regards.

Susan, Linda, Andy and family,
I was saddened to read the obituary for Jim.I recall meeting Jim and Marg for the first time when I moved to Grand Bay-Westfield in 2001. Jim had a wealth of information about the outdoors and the region. Family was important to Jim. He would talk about his love for Marg, as well as for his children and grandchildren.
As you grieve Gramp you can know that, "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted" Psalm 34:18 I am remembering you in prayer.

To All of Jim’s Family
We are saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. A marvellous man. We had the pleasure of being a next door neighbour to Jim and Marg, when we lived in Granny Chiswell’s apartment building. And then an even greater privilege to have him as our Landlord for several years.
To say that Jim was a kind, easy going, always moving kind of guy, would be an understatement of who Jim was to us. A great example to follow in making this world a better place.
We are grateful to have had him and Marg in our lives. And I can say with confidence that God used them both to bless us.
Until we meet again, with thankful hearts,
Gary and Dawn Tibbetts and family.
