Obituary of Larry Legere
The death of Larry Legere of the Loch Lomond Villa, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, February 15, 2003, at the age of 80. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Boudreau) Legere. Larry served in the Army Medical Corp. during WWII, was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69 and was a recipient of the MSN Award. Larry was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Larry was predeceased by daughter: Sharon; four sisters: Louise, Elodie, Stella and Mabel; three brothers: Leyond, Joseph and Ambi. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). The service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel, on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 2 PM. Interment will take place in the Cedar Hill Extension Field of Honor, in the spring. The Royal Canadian Legion will be holding a legion tribute, at the Funeral Home, on Monday at 7 PM.
