Obituary of Emily Louise Wilson

Our family circle has been broken. It is with great sadness that the family mourns the passing of Emily Wilson, wife of Leonard Wilson, of Lorneville, NB, which occurred on February 4, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a long & courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Caroline (Boxwright) May. Besides her husband, Emily is survived by two daughters, Brenda Tower & her husband John of Grand Bay-Westfield, Cindy Agnew & her husband Stephen of Quispamsis. Three sons, Walter & his wife Cathy of Lorneville, Arliss & his wife Elaine of Saint John, Robert & his wife Angela of Rothesay. Beloved grandchildren, Danny Tower & his wife Laura, Dale Tower, Meghan, Luke & Rebecca Agnew, Michael & Emily Wilson and Morgan and Brooke Wilson. Also survived by stepdaughter Paulette Cooke & her husband Keith and family. Survived by sister Florence Gibson of Windsor, ON, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Beatrice May, brothers John, Harry and Archie Smith. A loving mother & grandmother known for her generous and giving spirit, her greatest pleasure was giving to others. She will be sadly missed by everyone. Emily was Life Member & the Press Correspondent of the Ladies Auxiliary, R.C.L. # 69. A legion service will be held at 7pm on Sunday. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (506-634-7425). With visitation Sunday 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow the service. Internment will take place in the spring, in Lorneville Cemetery. For those who wish donations may be made to the Lorneville Cemetery Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
