Obituary of Irene L. Laycock-Glasgow

Irene L. Laycock-Glasgow The death of Irene L. Laycock-Glasgow, wife of the late James Glasgow occurred at her residence, Gagetown Nursing Home on April 6, 2003. Born in Derbyshire, England, Irene was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Stevens) Laycock. Irene was in the nursing field all of her life working in California, Vermont, Montreal, and private homes. She was a pleasant outgoing person who gave much joy to her family and friends. She is survived by two brothers George Laycock, Montreal and Allan Laycock of Calfornia, USA, and special friend Laurie London, Youngs Cove, NB. She is predeceased by fifteen brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506-634-7425). The funeral will take place on Wednesday April 9, 2003 at 1:00 PM from the chapel, with visitation the same day, starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date in Wesley United Church Cemetery, Brown's Flat, NB. Remembrances to the Alzheimer Society of Saint John or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
