Obituary of Mary A. Crawford

The death of Mary A. Crawford of 20 Blue Heron Park, Saint John West, wife of the late Beverley Crawford, occurred on Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fairville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Alice (Coxford) Mason. Mary was employed with CPR, CN and later was a ticket agent for Marine Atlantic until her retirement in 1988. She is survived by one niece, Wendy O'Hara (David) of Saint John, nephews, Chuck Reid (Mary Lou) of Saint John, David and Allan Mason and Robert Geldart, two special grand nieces, Heather Levesque (Pierre) of Memphis, TN and Carrie O'Hara of Calgary, AB, and four great nephews, Chuck, Corey, Christopher and Cody Reid. She was predeceased by two brothers, Hazen and Elery Mason and two sisters, Dorothy Geldart and Shirley Reid. At the request of Mary, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A private family service will be held at a later date, followed by the interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
