Obituary of George M. Conley

CONLEY, GEORGE M.- The death of George Mansfield Conley of Prince of Wales, NB, husband of Shirley (Lingley) Conley, occurred on Friday, June 3, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Harold and Alice (Tissington) Conley. Mr. Conley was a Bar Steward at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69 for many years. He was former member of the Shriner's Club and loved hunting, fishing and darts. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Brian (Mary Lou) of Saint John, Peter (Nancy) of Quispamsis and Paul (Barbara) of Saint John, one daughter, Lori Waugh (John) of Pennfield, one brother, Ronald (Bernice) of Saint John, one sister, Barbara Bursey of Saint John, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Bruce. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
