Obituary of Bruce Denton Cochrane

The death of Bruce Denton Cochrane, of Browns Flat, NB, occurred on May 27, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Randolph, NB, he was the son of the late Robert Henry and Mary B. (Denton) Cochrane. He served during WW II with the RCAF and was employed as a civil servant with the Government of Canada until his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed darts and cards as well as gardening and nature. He is survived by his special companion Blanche, his daughters Margaret Ann Cochrane of Dartmouth, NS, Elizabeth Jean Burnett of Campbellford, ON, Mary Louise Cochrane of Gravenhurst, ON, his grandchildren Steven, Lucas and Kaylah and his nephew Robert. He was predeceased by his brother Robert, sisters Eleanor, Allison and Jean, and his nephew Dick. At his request, following cremation at Brenans Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), the family held a private service.
