Obituary of George A. Plume

The death of George Angus Plume of Grand Bay/Westfield, husband of Shelley Dickens, occurred on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at his residence. Born in Stanley, NB, he was a son of Winifred (MacKinnon) and the late Laughlin Plume. George was employed with NB Power as a Chemical Technician for 33 years. He was a member of Carleton Curling Club and coached little league baseball. Besides his mother and wife he is survived by four sons: Joshua Dickens, Jordan Dickens, Alex Dickens and Nathan Dickens all of Grand Bay/Westfield; two daughters: Crystal Plume and Monica Plume both of Alberta; two brothers: Bob (Eileen) Plume of Saint John and Mike Plume of Fredericton; two sisters: Ella (Ted) Cookson and Marg (Carl) Cookson both of Stanley, NB; his first wife Paula Fraser of Alberta; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7425) with visiting on Saturday, July 2, 2005 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, July 3, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 4, 2005 from Bay View Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
