Obituary of Douglas Hazen Lingley
The death of Douglas Hazen Lingley of Hillcrest Village, Saint John, NB occurred on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at his residence. Born in Saint John a son of the late Hazen and Ellen (Graham) Lingley he had been employed with Vet's Taxi and later as a Burner at the Saint John Dry Dock from where he retired. Survived by his children: Patricia Lingley, Douglas Jr. (Rose), Ric (Diane), Gerry (Jo-Anne), John, Sharon (Derm) Driscoll and David (Alice), all of the Saint John area; step-children: Judy (Lyn) Randall of Saint John, Alan Dorcas of British Columbia, Brian (Patty) Dorcas of Greenwich, NB, David, Donald and Wayne Ganong all of Saint John; brothers-in-law: Gerald and James Belyea; sister, Josie (Ron) Pierce of London, ON; grandchildren: Scott, Shawna, Deric, Megan, Mallory, Jennifier, Davie, Ashley, Wendy, Dwayne and Alisa; good friends, Albert and Lorenza Robichaud. Predeceased by his first wife, Alberta (Murray) Lingley and his second wife, Marjorie (Belyea) Lingley; brother, Harp and sister, Gert. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with funeral service on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11 am with visiting one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Browns Flat Cemetery.
