Obituary of Norman Edward Middleton

The death of Norman Edward Middleton of Carter's Point, NB, husband of Grace (Stephens) Middleton, occurred on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Holderville, NB the son of the late Elmer and Alice (Brittain) Middleton, Norman had worked as an Ambulance Driver for the DVA, was a member of the NB Rangers prior to WWII and served with the Carleton-York Regiment during the war, was a member of the RCL Branch # 62, the Orange Lodge and Prentice Boys, and Norman enjoyed working in the woods. Survived by his wife; one son, David (Donna) Middleton; two daughters, Faye (Frank) Gorham of Carter's Point and Norma (George) Ainsworth of Ontario; extended family, Marjorie (Doug) Murray of Rothesay, NB, David (Carol) McCann of BC and Irene 0(Des) Desaulnier of Ontario; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Lois Smith and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Dawn Higgins. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with funeral service on Monday, August 1, 2005 from Bay View Chapel at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Harding's Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Harding's Point Cemetery, the James H. Williams Community Hall Inc. or a charity of the donor's choice.
