Obituary of Anne Beatrice Connor

The death of Anne Beatrice (Lockhart) Connor, wife of the late William Connor, occurred on October 25, 2005 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born in East Scotch Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Lockhart. She was a member of the United Church of Canada. She was a graduate of Provincial Normal School, was an Undergraduate of Mount Allison University and UNB and did her Postgraduate studies at UNB. She was a school teacher having taught the last 18 years of her career at Lorne School. She was a member of both Mount Allison and UNB Alumni Associations and was a past-president of the New Brunswick Teacher's Association. Surviving are her sons Norman L. of Oakville, ON, Ronald C. 'Bud' and Ruth Palmer of Saint John, special niece Ann Allaby of Quispamsis, her grandchildren Sean and Wesley Connor of Toronto, ON, Nancy and Gregory Connor of Halifax, NS, John and Robert Connor of Saint John, and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers Eldon, Clarence, Charles and William and sister Elizabeth (Betty) Lockhart predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at 2:00 pm, from Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Children's Wish Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
