Obituary of Harold Douglas Kelly

KELLY, Harold Douglas "Doug" ? The death of H. Douglas Kelly, husband of the late Dorcas Patricia (Patterson) Kelly, occurred on Monday, January 2, 2006 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John a son of the late John Raymond and Kathleen (Black) Kelly, Doug had been employed with the C.N.R. for forty-three years and enjoyed his country home overlooking the Saint John River at Public Landing. Survived by one son, Douglas (Janet) Kelly of Lower Greenwich, NB; one daughter, Barbara (Robert) Darton of Wellington, NS; two brothers, John Kelly, retired Judge and his wife, Mary Jane of Hampton, NB and Robert (Karen) Kelly of Sarnia, ON; one sister, Helen (Joseph) Patterson of Public Landing, NB; four grandsons: Robert and Jonathan Darton and Keith and Kyle Kelly; many nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Augustine's Church, 279 Nerepis Rd., Grand Bay ? Westfield, NB on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 11 am. Following cremation interment will be held in the spring. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saint John, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
