Obituary of Vivian Margaret MacDonald

The death of Vivian Margaret MacDonald of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Alexander MacDonald, occurred on Wednesday, May 03, 2006 at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Born in Sussex, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Annie (Benson) Mabee. Vivian was employed with Comcare as a home care worker until her retirement. She is survived by two sons: Alex "Sandy" (Ruth) of Saint John; Chris (Darlene) of Bradley Lake; two daughters: Gail (Chris) Fisher of Public Landing; Karen MacDonald of Saint John; three sisters: Alice Totten of Saint John; Shirley (Art) Whittaker of Hampton; Florence (Len) Coleman of Saint John; 1 brother, Lloyd Mabee (Juanita Stewart) of Saint John; nine grandchildren: Michael, Josh, Courtenay, Kristen, Tiffany, Morgan, Jordon, Colin and Cory, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one son, Kevin, one daughter Christine. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6, 2006 from St. Augustine's Church, Westfield at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Augustine's Church Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
