Obituary of Wealthy Aileen Dean

The death of Wealthy Aileen Dean, wife of the late Reeve Dean, occurred on May 11, 2006, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Spa Springs, Annapolis Valley, NS, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Minnie Ethel (Bolser) Tucker. Her daughter Eleanor P. Downey predeceased her. Surviving are her son-in-law Gordon Downey, brother Charles Tucker and his wife Muriel, grandchildren Carolyn Stevens, and Daniel, Wesley and Mark Downey, great-grandchildren Bethany and Julianne Stevens and several nieces and nephews. Besides her daughter her sisters Marie Hersey, Marguerite Reid and Edwina Findlay also predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2006, at 3:00 pm, from Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place at the Lorneville Community Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
