Obituary of MARGARET E. LASKEY

LASKEY, The death of Margaret Eileen Laskey, 29, of Grand Bay-Westfield, occurred on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Saint John on February 11, 1977, she was the daughter Robert and Louise (Cunningham) Laskey of Grand Bay-Westfield. Margaret was employed at New System Dry Cleaners on Lansdowne Avenue for several years. Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Laura M. Ouellette (Gary) of Florida, three brothers, Bruce of Toronto, ON, Jerry of Saint John and Brad (Cathy) of Grand Bay-Westfield, a special niece, Christine Laskey and her son Riley of Saint John, one aunt, Lois Higgins (Gordon) of Grand Bay-Westfield, two great aunts, Nell McEwen of Petrolia, ON and Margaret Sparks of Cambridge, ON and many cousins. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 7-9 PM only. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances to the Salvation Army, "MADD"- Mothers Against Drunk Driving or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
