Obituary of Leo Gregory Cavanaugh

The death of Leo Gregory Cavanaugh of Martinon, NB, husband of the late Marjorie (McBeath) Cavanaugh, occurred on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, NB, a son of the late Gregory Leo and Mary Veronica (Dacey) Cavanaugh. Greg retired from the NBLCC following 30 years of employment and had been a member of Adanac Association. Survived by two daughters: Brenda (Grant) MacQueen of Hampton, NB and Patty (Brian) Dorcas of Lower Greenwich, NB; four grandchildren: Gregory, Shyanne, Joshua and Taylor; one great-granddaughter, Abbygail; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, Marjorie in December, 2005 and his mother-in-law, Elsie MacBeath in March 2006. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from Bay View Chapel at 1 pm. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Browns Flat, NB. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Special Thanks to Dr. S.
