Obituary of Jack Paul Alderman

The death of Jack Paul Alderman, husband of Colleen Mary Alderman, occurred on August 25, 2006 at his residence. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Jack and Pauline (Banks) Alderman. He was a mechanic having work the Saint John Port with several companies. He was a member of the ILA Local #273 and the RCL Branch # 69. He enjoyed baseball, basketball and restoring cars. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Besides his wife he is survived by daughters Sherrilee Nason and her husband Murray, Jaclyn Toner and her husband Mark, his brothers Donald, Harry and his wife Susan, grandchildren Ashley and Brock Nason and Alexis Toner, all of Saint John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. His brothers Wayne and Doug predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm, from Bay View Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place on Tuesday at 2:30 pm at the Lorneville Community Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Scarth, Dr. Mowatt, the nursing staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital and Extra Mural Hospital with special thanks to Sherry, Carolyn and Eileen.
