Obituary of RICHARD THORNE

After a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 48, Scott passed away peacefully at his home in Brampton with his family by his side, on September 14th. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Flavell), loving father of Brendyn, Sean (McIntosh), and Andrew; cherished son of June Thorne and the late Richard "Dick." He will be greatly missed by his sister Cathy Fair (Kenny) and his brother Tim. Scott will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service was held in Brampton, Ontario. Memorial service to be held at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home (1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John) on Saturday September 23rd at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family trust fund c/o Brenan's or a charity of your choice.
