Obituary of Paul Eugene Bolduc

BOLDUC, Paul Eugene … The death of Paul Eugene Bolduc, of Saint John West, husband of Paulette (Parent) Bolduc, occurred peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 1, 1917 in Ste. Anne de Beaupre, QC, he was the son of the late Eugene and Lucia (Racine) Bolduc. Paul was an electrician for many years and retired from Marque Construction as Electrical Manager. He was a long standing member of the United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Paul was an avid hockey player in his youth and enjoyed, fishing, horse racing, watching hockey and was considered to be fun loving and a bit of a prankster. Paul was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and a past member of Carleton Curling Club. He enjoyed a good food and spending time with his large extended family. He will be sadly missed. Paul met his wife, Pauline Irene Parent in Grand Mere, QC, where they were married in 1952. They then moved throughout Quebec and Ontario before settling in Saint John in 1966. Besides his loving wife Paulette, he is survived by his children: Helene Bezanson of Dartmouth, NS, Pierre Bolduc of Nepean, ON, Louise Bolduc Hooper (Terry) and Denis Bolduc, both of Saint John; sisters: Louise Fournier of Jolliette, QC and Elaine Lefrancois of Chateau Richer, QC; two grandchildren: Aaron and Raymond Bolduc Hooper, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Berthe Frechette and Georgette Lefrancois, one brother, Gaston Bolduc and son-in-law, Brett Bezanson. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425) with visiting on Friday 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 3:00 PM. A private family interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
