Obituary of Joan A. Urquhart

The death of Joan Ann (Fox) Urquhart of Centennial Drive, Saint John, NB, occurred on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Inez (Nason) Fox. Joan was employed with the Saint John Marina as manager and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 25 years. She is survived by five brothers; Jim (Joan), Wesley (Betty), Gary (Ros), Steve, Andy (Rossann) all of Saint John, special great-niece Kari Harvey and her son Dustin Pitre, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by three brothers Raymond, George and Donald. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (506-634-7425). At the family's request, visitation will follow the service on Saturday and will be held from the home of Joan's brother, Andy Fox, 53 Valleyview Cres. Saint John, West at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Following cremation, interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date.
