Obituary of Heather Louise McCavour
It is with deepest sadness that the family of Heather Louise McCavour announce her passing, after a courageous battle with Cancer on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Lorneville, NB on October 6, 1951, a daughter of Valerie (Evans) McCavour and the late Willard McCavour. Heather had been employed as a book-keeper with several firms. She enjoyed her involvement with the Lower Greenwich Recreational Centre, Royal Canadian Legion - Branch # 87, the Red Hatters and organizing Card Parties. Gardening was a favorite pass-time. Survived by her mother, Valerie McCavour of Saint John, NB; her husband, Austin Sutton and son, Anthony Sutton, both of Lower Greenwich; two step-daughters: Lorinda Sutton (Carmen Doherty) of Browns Flat, NB and Angela (Perry) Roberts of Orangeville, ON; two brothers: Malcolm (Donna) McCavour of Lorneville and Vernon (Jo-Ann) McCavour of Musquash, NB; three sisters: Fern McCavour (Dave Cunningham) of Saint John, Holly (Mark) Seeley of Lorneville and Christine McCavour (Rick LeBlanc) of Nerepis, NB; two grandchildren: Daniel and David Roberts; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Willard McCavour. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Lorneville Cemetery on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 11am. Remembrances may be made to a charity of one's choice.
