Obituary of Jeannette Mary Comeau

The death of Jeannette Mary Comeau, beloved wife of Emile J. Comeau, of Wickham, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. She was born on March 1, 1939 in West Bathurst, NB a daughter of the late John Pitre and Mary Obey. She was an excellent gardener and cook, who dearly cared for her family. Jeannette was an avid outdoorswoman who loved to tell stories about her hunting and fishing adventures. Bingo was another of her passions. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Emile of Wickham; three sons: Edmund of Nova Scotia, Guy(Faith Boucher) and Michael (Linda Bridges) Comeau of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; a daughter, Denise (Yvon) Deschenes of Saint John, NB; four brothers: George and Alfie of Bathurst, Leo of Ontario and Richard of Calgary, AB; six sisters; Anita, Bridgette and Simone of Ontario, Laurine of Quebec and Anna and Yvonne of Bathurst; seven grandchildren: Christina, Rean, Nilen, Matthew, Natalie, Vanessa, and Travis. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Matthews Church, Grand Bay-Westfield, on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 11 am. Internment is to take place in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Westfield. Remembrances may be made to the Cancer Society or Palliative Care Unit of the S. J. Regional Hospital.
