Obituary of Brenda Colleen London

London, Brenda Colleen – After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Brenda went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. She passed, peacefully at her residence in Grand Bay-Westfield, with her loving husband and daughter by her side. Born in Saint John, NB on April 8, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Morrell) McKay. Brenda was formerly employed as a Postmistress at Westfield and Grand Bay-Westfield, NB and was a member of Grand Bay Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Ron McKay and his wife, Mary; also her brother-in-law, John McIntyre. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred and their daughter, Paula and her husband Jimmy Ross of St. Andrews, NB. Her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Emily. Also, she is survived by her sister, Lorraine McIntyre of Falls River, NS; her special aunt, Audrey Davidson of Saint John; and special families, Ken and Diana Gogan of Saint John and David and Claudette London of Grand Bay, NB. Also surviving are all her special cousins, nieces and nephews and a special friend, Kay Carpenter of Oxford, England who was a donor to Brenda. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, West, NB (506-634-7425) where visiting will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m and on Saturday at Grand Bay Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the church at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Grand Bay Baptist Church, Princess Margaret Hospital Lodge Trust Fund, 545 Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON, M4Y 2H8, or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
