Obituary of Dorothy Audrey Samborowski

Samborowski, Dorothy Audrey "Dot" … The death of Dorothy Samborowski of West Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John on June 11, 1916 to the late Douglas and Lucy (Hughes) Barton. Dorothy worked in Chicago, Illinois for Donnelly's Publishing Firm in Sales and Marketing Department for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Edith Muzzerall of Saint John, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, her caregiver Wendy King and her shopping partner Pam Garnett. Besides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Stanislaw "Stan" Samborowski, four sisters: Marion, Mabel, Lucy and Phyllis, infant brother Raymond, infant sister Betty and one niece Sandra. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in Bay View Chapel on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 3 pm. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Red Cross, Alzheimer's Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
