Obituary of Lee E. Svensson

Svensson, Lee E. – The death of Lee Elizabeth (Akins) Svensson, RN, of Prince of Wales, wife of Alden Nils Svensson, occurred on Monday, December 24, 2007 at her residence. Born in Calgary, Alberta she was a daughter of the late Earl and Lorna (Mogard) Akins. Lee graduated from Ryerson, Poly Technical Institute in Toronto and was employed with Centracare as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed gardening, music and playing the Cello. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Victor of Hamilton, ON, Patrick of Edmonton, AB; two daughters, Sarah (Wade) Svensson of Grand Manan, Bridget Svensson of Prince of Wales; sister, Pallas Marie Akins of Halifax, NS; brother-in-law, Dr. E.C. Svensson of Deep River, ON; two grandchildren, Lily and Piersson, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Homes, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 from Bay View Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Central Hampstead Cemetery.
