Obituary of H. Isabel LeBlanc

LeBlanc, H. Isabel … The death of Hannah Isabel LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, wife of the late J. Medley LeBlanc, occurred on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on October 1, 1916 she was a daughter of the late George Frederick and Lucy Rose (Gibbons) Orr. Isabel had a great love for music, gardening and bird watching. She will be remembered as a very special lady; intelligent, mirthful and kind, with a positive outlook in all circumstances. Survived by a son, J. Medley LeBlanc Jr. of Saint John; a brother, James Orr and two sisters, Lucille Marr and Gracie Totten. Predeceased by her husband of more than sixty years; and several sisters. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Wednesday from 1:30 pm until the time of the service. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with a reception following at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
