Obituary of Freda V. MacLeod

MacLeod, Freda V. - The death of Freda V. McLeod, wife of the late Kenneth MacLeod of Saint John West, occurred after a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday October 6, 2008. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Dawson and Juanita (Cossaboom) Cheyne. Freda retired from the former DVA Hospital where she worked in the Dietary Department. She enjoyed boating and traveling. Freda was predeceased by her parents and her son-in-law Edward Beck. Freda is survived by her daughters Pat Beck and Jane (Brian) Goudreau both of Saint John West, 3 grandsons: James (Cindy) Beck, Stephen Beck and Joel Goudreau, 2 great-grandchildren Jillian Beck and Gina Wood. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (506-634-7425) from where the funeral will be held on Thursday October 9, 2008 with service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
