Obituary of Bertha Mary Paisley

The death of Bertha Paisley of Saint John, wife of the late Robert Howard Paisley, occurred on Monday, January 19, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital; born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Catherine (Arsenault) Gallant. Bertha is survived by two step-sons, Kenneth (Carol) Paisley of Acton, Ontario and William (Beth) Paisley of Browns Flat, NB; one son, Peter Gallant of Quispamsis; two brothers, Leo (Eleanor) Gallant of Buctouche Bay, NB and Albert (Marie) Gallant of Saint John; six sisters, Gertrude Morrison of Saint John, Theresa (Joseph) Blanchard of Saint John, Doris Curran of Browns Flat, Esther McGraw of Saint John, Lorraine (Murray) Ward of Pocologan, NB and Marguerite (Earl) McLean of Truro, NS; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters; Agnes Jaillet, Myrtle Jaillet and Mary Gallant; and two brothers, Albert Gallant and Arthur Gallant. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at 1 pm. from Brenan's Bay View Chapel. Interment will be held in the spring at Oak Point. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
