Obituary of Anna Marie Leger

The death of Anna Marie Leger of Carleton Kirk Complex, Saint John, NB wife of the late Arthur Leger occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cap-Pele, NB on July 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Lena (Richard) LeBlanc. Anna work for 14 years at St. Joseph's Convent until her retirement. She is survived by her only son, Alvin (Carolyn) of Grand Bay-Westfield; two grandchildren, Angela and Marc Leger; one brother, Fernard (Alice) LeBlanc of Kitchener, ON; several nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her loving companion, Phillip Arsenault, three brothers and four sisters. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 10 am until the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption, 360 Dufferin Row, Saint John at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Cancer Society of New Brunswick or any charity of the donor's choice.
