Obituary of Robin Cora Graves

The passing of Robin Graves of Ocean Westway, Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. She was born at Saint John on September 3, 1948 to the late Raymond and Cora (Urquhart) Graves. Robin worked for Canada Food and Inspection Agency for many years. She was a loving mother and aunt and a pillar in her family. Robin is survived by her son, Corey Graves of Saint John; niece Shelley Scott (Rob) of Saint John; two sisters: Irene Elliott (Bob) and Jewel Graves-LeHeup (Jon) both of Toronto, ON; nieces and nephews: Anthony Finlay (Allison), Thumper McDonald (Wendi), Vanessa Graves, Andrew Elliott (Ayako) and Lynn Lord (John); grandchildren Robert and Allie Scott and grandnephew Liam Lord; grandnieces, Alex Lord and Mia Elliott. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Finlay. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Robin's Life will be held at the Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Animal Rescue League, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
