Obituary of Juanita Darlene Sterritt

Surrounded by her loving family, Juanita Sterritt, wife of the late Freeman Sterritt, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, May 8, 2009 at her home in Glenwood, NB. She was born on November 25, 1934 at Saint John, NB to the late Clifford and Nellie (Riley) Price. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she was an avid gardener. Juanita is survived by her son, Donald (Jocelyne) of Glenwood, NB; daughter, Debbie Ryan (Bob) of Glenwood, NB; brother, Clifford Price (Addie) of Wakaw, SA; brother-in-law, Stephen Ashford; sister-in-law Laura McNamara; seven grandchildren; several nieces; several nephews and close family friends: Billy and Lisa Donald and Jim and Edwina Scovil. Besides her husband and parents, Juanita was predeceased by her daughter, Lynn Sterritt-Copp; brother, Dick Price and sister, Prudence Price. At Juanita's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425). Don and family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Juanita's caregiver, Debbie Bacon and the Extra Mural Staff for their support and compassion during this difficult time.
