Obituary of William F. Eaton

The death of William F. Eaton, husband of the late Laurine (Landry) Eaton, occurred on February 13, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born In Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and Sarah (MacKinnon) Eaton. He was self-employed throughout his life working hard at farming, being a store proprietor, lumbering and painting. He was Anglican by faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughters Judy Scullion and her husband Robert of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Susan Lewis and her husband Gordon of Saint John, NB and Gayle Eaton of Coquitlam, BC, his brother Harold Eaton of Fredericton, NB, his sisters Dorothy Alexander of Ottawa, ON, Betty Cameron of Etobicoke, ON, his grandchildren Marielle Scullion and Peter and Bill Redfern, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from Bay View Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place at St. Augustine's Cemetery in the spring. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick heart and Stroke Foundation or Romero House-Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
