Obituary of Gerald Fox

The death of "Doozer" Gerald (Gary) Lynnwood Fox of Grand Bay-Westfield, beloved husband of Rosamund (Cormier) Fox, occurred on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his residence. Born in Fairville, New Brunswick on February 15, 1942, he was the beloved Son of George and Inez (Nason) Fox of Fairville, New Brunswick. Doozer was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance for nearly three decades. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to spend time at his camp and was a great source of entertainment at many canoe or hunting trips with his beautiful singing voice and antagonistic sense of humor. If you measured his wealth by the number of close friends he had, you would have to admit that Doozer was truly weathly. Best known as a proud Grandfather; referred to as Pup or Papa by many the "candy man" or the "toy". He was a Prince among men. Gary was pre-deceased by his Siblings Jim, Wesley, Donald (Herk), Raymond (Bergen) George and sister Joan (Urquhart); beloved and only daughter Tracey (Fox) McQuade (Darrell) of Grand Bay. Gary is survived by his loving wife, and 4 children, Daniel Fox (Heather) of Baxters Corner, Tony Fox (Yvonne) of Nerepis, Sean Fox (Mary) of Mississauga, ON and Mark Fox (Lauren) of Newmarket, ON; Grandchildren, Mitch, Nick, Jenna, Rob, Vanessa, Ryan, Emily, Ben, Matthew, Alex., Chandra and Broghan; several nieces and nephews and brothers Andrew and Stephen Fox.
