Obituary of Horace Stanley Hall

Horace Stanley Hall of Saint John West, husband of the late Dorothy G. (Cramm) Hall, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born at St. John's, NL, on November 30, 1921, he was a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Squires) Hall. Horace was a graduate of Dalhousie University, and did post-graduate studies at Queen's University and the University of Minnesota. He was then employed as a clinical chemist at the Saint John Regional Hospital until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of St. Mark's United Church, the Lancaster Golden Service Club, and enjoyed carpentry and building in his younger years. Horace is survived by his children, Richard Hall (Trudy Atherton) of Saint John and Dr. Jennifer Hall (David Methven) of Rothesay; siblings Jack Hall (Lillian) of Mount Pearl, NL, Audrey Campbell of St. John's, NL, Reg Hall (Joan) of Victoria, BC, and Louise Hope of England; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Hubert Hall, Madge Sinnott, Chesley Hall, and Ruth Scott.
