Obituary of Ferdinand Illinger

The death of Ferdinand 'Frank' Illinger, husband of the late Louise Mary (Gould) Illinger, occurred on April 24, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Austria. He was employed with various Irving Group companies retiring as a pipe fitter from Saint John Ship Building Ltd. He was a member of the Nerepris United Baptist Church and enjoyed diverse hobbies from woodworking to cooking. He is survived by his sons Raymond Ring and his wife Joanne, David M. Ring and his wife Tammy, John G. Ring and his wife Lori, his daughters Susan Ring Raymond and her husband Andrew, Roberta Yelle and her husband David, all of the Greater Saint John Area, Mary Louise (Tootie) Palmater and her husband Frank of Ottawa, his other children Frank Jr., Heidi and David, his sister Elizabeth of Milwaukee and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Deborah Woodhouse, son Robert Peter (Bucky) Ring and grandson Peter Woodhouse. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road 634-7425, with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held of Thursday, April 29, 2004, at 11:00 AM from Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
